The Henley Multi brick is crafted using sharp sand and a carefully balanced fuel additive, producing a coarser texture and a natural spectrum of colour variation across each brick.
*Example image above shows a bespoke blend featuring Henley Multi in an Elizabethan texture.
Through the traditional firing process, the surface develops a mix of warm reds, subtle oranges, and deeper tonal accents, creating a multi facing brick with depth and visual movement. The result is a characterful handmade brick suited to both traditional builds and high-quality new developments where variation and authenticity are essential.
Each brick reflects the qualities of natural brick earth and skilled hand making, offering a finish suitable for projects nationwide.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a multi brick?
A multi brick is a type of facing brick that features a blend of natural colour tones within each batch, typically ranging across reds, oranges, and deeper shades. This variation is created during the firing process and results in a more textured, visually rich finish compared to uniform bricks, making multi bricks well suited to both traditional and contemporary builds where character and depth are desired.
What makes the Henley Multi brick different from standard facing bricks?
The Henley Multi brick offers a broader spectrum of natural colour variation and a coarser texture, created through the use of sharp sand and traditional firing methods.
Are Henley Multi bricks suitable for new builds?
Yes. They are widely used in new build developments where a more traditional or characterful finish is required.
Do colours vary between batches?
Natural variation is a defining feature of handmade multi bricks. We recommend ordering sufficient quantities at one time and blending from packs during installation.
Can these bricks be used for restoration projects?
They can be suitable where a varied, characterful finish is appropriate. For precise heritage brick matching, we recommend discussing requirements with our team.
